Religious Education Program Registration
Registrations to our Parish Religious Education Program are now being accepted at the Rectory Office during normal Office Hours. We ask all parents who are planning to send their child/ren to our program this year to register as soon as possible.
As per Archdiocesan policy all children must be enrolled in a Religious Education Program for 2 years prior to receiving any sacrament.
ALL new students to the program must bring their Baptismal Certificate at the time of registration.
Our English Religious Education classes meet on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. The first day of class is Sunday, September 13th.
Tuition and book fees for the 2009-2010 Religious Education Year are as follows for Registered Parishioners of Five Holy Martyrs: $150 for one child, $200 for two or more children. Tuition and Book Fees for Non-parishioners at Five Holy Martyrs are: $175 for one child and $225 for two or more children.
If your child is in his/her second year of the program and will be receiving a sacrament in 2010 there will be an additional fee collected during the school year.
Attention All Religious Ed Catechists!
There will be a meeting for all Catechists (Religious Ed Teachers) on Monday, August 24th, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. in the Rectory Conference Room. Please mark your calendar and plan to attend!
Also, ALL catechists and catechist aides must complete the Virtus/Protecting God’s Children Training course. If you are a catechist/aide, or would like to be, please call Celena at the Rectory Office for more information and/or how to enroll in this course.
